So sad to say Good-Bye...

I have been so fortunate to have my sister and her husband and children here visiting for the last three weeks from Sweden. We don't get to see each other very often, so we were very excited that they could be here for Kajsa's birth. It's so sad that we all live so far apart since we all love being together so much. I just wanted to say I love you guys and I can't wait to see you again...even if it takes a couple of years. All of you have a very special place in my heart!

Min Sötnos (My Cutie Pie)

Kajsa got this soother that says "sötnos" on it from my sister in Sweden. Sötnos roughly means cutie pie in English. She really is my cutie pie! I feel like I just sit and stare at her for hours...and I love it! She's only going to be this tiny and innocent for a short time, so I am going to enjoy it as much as I can! Everything else can wait, even my house work, and that's a big deal for me! :)
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and child!

She's Here!

I proved that midwife wrong! Our baby girl was born on May 11 at 11:18 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. Her name is Kajsa Ruth (Kajsa sounds like Kaiza). Here are some photos for those of you who read my blog to enjoy.

Confused

Whenever I see a big tanker truck that says "Inflammable" I always wonder why it does not just say "Flammable". Could someone explain the difference between inflammable and flammable to me?

Baby Room

This is how our baby room turned out. Now we just need a little one to put in it :) I'm hoping this weekend or next week some time!

Classy

John and I saw this lovely plastic Cougar on a lovely plastic log outside of a house just down the street from our friends place. We were killing ourselves laughing and had to drive past it several times. Enjoy!
